  10. The HDTEST.DOC file is formatted to be printed out in 10-point type on 
  11. standard-size (11" X 8") paper by a (otherwise "dumb") printer which is 
  12. capable of underlining by doing a <CR> without a <LF> and overtyping the 
  13. previous line - almost all modern printers can do this. If you want to view 
  14. the documentation in an editor and/or TYPE it to the console, you will need to 
  15. remove the underlining, which can most easily be done with the aid of the 
  16. MAKETXT program. To use this program, simply give the command "MAKETXT HDTEST" 
  17. (without the quotes, of course). MAKETXT will read the .DOC file (which it 
  18. expects to find in the current directory) and write a second file called 
  19. HDTEST.TXT, which can be edited or TYPEd without difficulty.

  21. Users of versions of HDTEST prior to V4.45 should read the "CHANGES FROM 
  22. PREVIOUS VERSIONS" section of the documentation.
